Kara Langford, PE, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in transit project management and design, currently serving as Transit Project Manager, Transit Design Lead, Senior Engineer, and Engineer at SRF Consulting Group since June 2015. Expertise includes preliminary and final design of municipal projects focused on Bus Rapid Transit and Light Rail, with responsibilities in alignments, profiles, roadway geometrics, staging design, and ADA Design. Previous experience includes a role as Junior Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where Kara oversaw open hole formation evaluation and managed a wireline crew, as well as an undergraduate researcher position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, concentrating on seismology projects. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a geological engineering credential from The University of Auckland.
