Karen Garcia Rius has a diverse work experience. Karen started their career as an Account Specialist at Guardian Fire Protection Services, LLC from August 2013 to August 2018. Following that, they interned at the Harvard-MIT Summer Institute from June 2019 to August 2019. Karen then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University from August 2020 to December 2020 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from September 2019 to August 2020. From April 2020 to April 2021, they served as the Director of George Hacks. Currently, they are working at srcLogic as an Associate Technical Consultant, a position they have held since August 2021.
