Rachel Corrigan has extensive work experience in the security industry, beginning with their role as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force in 1997. Rachel then moved on to a Technical Writer position at Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2001. In 2002, they became an Information System Security Officer at Booz Allen Hamilton, followed by an Information System Security Manager role at CyberCore Technologies in 2004. In 2008, Rachel began working as an Information System Security Officer at KEYW Corporation, and most recently, they have been a Security Engineer at SRC Technologies Inc. since 2016.

Rachel Corrigan received their Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2004. Rachel then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
