Amanda Maxemchuk is a seasoned environmental scientist with extensive experience in ecological risk assessment and marine biology. Currently serving as a Senior Ecological Risk Assessor at SRC since February 2022, Amanda previously held positions such as Senior Marine Biologist and Environmental Scientist at BMT, Technical Leader at AECOM, and Principal Research Scientist at Battelle. Amanda’s expertise encompasses modeling environmental pollutant concentrations, assessing ecological risks to aquatic species, and preparing Environmental Impact Assessments for energy projects. With a strong academic background in Marine Biology and Environmental Science from William & Mary and Rutgers University, Amanda has also contributed significantly to various organizations, focusing on ecological risk assessments and contaminant site investigations throughout a diverse career.
