Wancheng (William) Qiu is an experienced quantitative researcher currently employed at Squarepoint Capital since August 2021. Previously, Wancheng worked at Citi from March 2018 to July 2021, holding roles as a Quant Analyst in Rates Algo and a Quant Trader in Cash Equities (Central Risk Book). Wancheng earned a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell University between 2016 and 2017 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Finance and Statistics from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2016.
