Jiayin Guo is a quantitative researcher at Squarepoint Capital since May 2021. Previously, Jiayin worked as a quantitative analyst at Cubist Systematic Strategies for a brief period in late 2020, contributing to an alpha-generating team. Academic roles include serving as a graduate research assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where research focused on Hodge theory and Teichmuller theory, and as a graduate teaching assistant for various mathematics courses from 2014 to 2018. Jiayin holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in Mathematics from UCLA, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Tsinghua University.
