Aleks Piotrowski is a seasoned quantitative developer with extensive experience in algorithmic trading and software development. Currently at Squarepoint Capital since April 2020, Aleks previously worked at Knot Capital as a quantitative developer/researcher, focusing on systematic strategy research and low-latency trading technology. Prior experience includes an associate role at Goldman Sachs within the equities algorithmic trading team, developing new features for execution algorithms. Earlier positions comprise software developer at Huguenot Services Limited, where Aleks enhanced a web application for investor reporting, and a trainee patent attorney at Hoffmann Eitle, specializing in electronics and IT-related patents. Aleks began a technology development career as a summer intern at Sentec Ltd, contributing to smart grid technology, and gathered valuable insights while shadowing at ICAP.
