Akshai Vengat is a quantitative analyst at Squarepoint Capital since April 2023, previously serving as a quantitative researcher at West 6 Analytics Pte Ltd from May 2022 to November 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Global Markets Summer Analyst at UBS in May 2021 and an internship in macro strategy and research at Dymon Asia Capital from June 2020 to November 2020. Additionally, Akshai was a quantitative researcher at the NUS Investment Society from September 2019 to June 2020 and served as a Section Commander in the Singapore Armed Forces from August 2016 to August 2018. Akshai is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Engineering at the National University of Singapore, following a Bachelor of Science with honors in Quantitative Finance and a minor in Artificial Intelligence, obtained from the same institution in 2022. Akshai also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Global Indian International School (2014-2016).
