Guillaume Michel has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at SquareMind since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Netatmo from August 2014 to September 2021, where they held roles as a Machine Learning Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Netatmo, they designed Dvolver, a neural network architecture search algorithm, and worked on mobile neural networks suitable for edge computations.
Before joining Netatmo, they were employed at Sopra Steria from April 2011 to July 2014. At Sopra Steria, they served as a Mobile Solution Architect, leading the development of an iPad application for Eurocopter. Guillaume also worked as an IT Architect, where they contributed to the design and implementation of large-scale IT infrastructures, including a dual datacenter SharePoint infrastructure for Safran and defining security policies for Astrium.
Earlier in their career, Guillaume worked as an R&D Software Engineer at Eureva from September 2009 to April 2011, an IT Production Manager at Synermat from September 2006 to August 2009, and a PHD Student at Laboratoire de Physique Théorique d'ORSAY from September 2002 to August 2006. Guillaume also had an internship at DESY from June 2004 to September 2004.
Guillaume MICHEL completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1996 to 1999, they attended Classe Préparatoire MP Thiers, where they focused on Mathematics. Following that, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued their studies at Ecole normale supérieure and obtained a Magister degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, they received a certification in "Conduire un projet de sciences de données" from École Polytechnique in May 2018.
