Gilles LAURENT has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Gilles is currently working as a Senior Software Engineering at SquareMind since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Inria as an Ing¨¦nieur Transfert et Innovation from August 2019 to June 2020. Gilles'sresponsibilities included conceiving a video editing software, implementing a domain-specific scripting language for video animation, and developing a real-time physics-based 3D rendering engine using OpenGL/Vulkan. Before joining Inria, Gilles was associated with Dassault Syst¨¨mes from September 2014 to July 2019. Gilles served as a Technology Stellar Realtime Native R&D Development Engineer, where they worked on integrated developments within the rendering engine of the 3DExperience Platform. Gilles also conducted research as a Doctorant during their doctoral thesis from September 2014 to September 2017, focusing on developing approximation models for real-time global illumination of high-definition virtual scenes. Additionally, Gilles worked as an Ing¨¦nieur d¨¦veloppement at Dassault Syst¨¨mes from January 2014 to August 2014.
Gilles Laurent completed their Doctorate in Graphic Informatics at T¨¦l¨¦com Paris from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they acquired a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they attended from 2010 to 2013.
