Gian D'Ambra has held a variety of roles in the sports and entertainment industry since 2013. Gian began their career as a Student Assistant Sports Information Director at Sonoma State University, where they were responsible for announcing and broadcasting games, writing game recaps for the athletics website, and inputting statistics and writing athlete bios for the athletics website. In 2014, they became a Camera Operator for Rush Media Company. Gian then worked as an Operations Technician for WJAR-TV in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Event Representative for AEG and as a Production Assistant for NBC Sports Bay Area & California. In 2017, they were a Supervisor for the Oakland Athletics. In 2018, they were a Ticket Operations Associate for Gametime United, and in 2020 they were a Fan Happiness Associate - Gaming for the same company, where they manually marked events taking place during live games, created trivia questions, and created automated games using player & team slugs and odds from legal gambling sites. Currently, they are a Customer Service Representative for SquadLocker and a Customer Experience Associate, Sportsbook for DraftKings Inc.
Gian D'Ambra began their educational journey at Cranston High School East, where they completed their General Studies from 2004 to 2008. Gian then attended Hofstra University from 2008 to 2010, studying Broadcast Journalism. Finally, they graduated from Sonoma State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications.
