Sachin Patel has over 15 years of work experience in the technology field. In 2003, they began working as a Bioinformatician and Senior Database Administrator at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. In 2005, they were the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Parigan. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Senior Data Analyst at TaxSlayer, LLC and then the Chief Executive Officer of Patient Guided Health Solutions. In 2012, they became the Chief Technology Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina and in 2017, they were the Co-Owner and Chief Technology Officer of SpursTech and Health IT Solutions, LLC. In 2020, they became the Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Porter-Gaud School.

Sachin Patel began their educational journey in 2000 when they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Augusta University. Sachin then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Mathematics from the same institution in 2002. In the same year, they obtained an Oracle DBA certification from Oracle. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Oxford, as well as a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator certification from Microsoft.
