Shreya Patel is an experienced Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Sprout Social, Inc., where since January 2015, responsibilities have included building product features with React, Redux, Backbone, and SCSS, as well as organizing Engineering Web Chapter Meetings. Prior to this role, Shreya contributed as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on setting up and maintaining Selenium Grid infrastructure, and mentoring manual testers. Shreya also has a background in web development, having graduated from Dev Bootcamp, and co-founded the non-profit organization Guide My Heart, which raises awareness for cardiovascular disease. Earlier career experience includes working as a Surgical Assistant at Clinical Associates and as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens. Educational qualifications include a degree in Full Stack Web Development from Dev Bootcamp and additional studies at the University of Illinois Chicago.
