Deborah Lee has worked at several companies since 2020. Deborah began their career as an Intern at LifeSTEPS where they distributed information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic for residents in senior housing sites. In 2021, they worked at the California Department of Public Health as an Injury and Violence Prevention Intern, where they organized projects, created a database of all existing offices and CDC-funded projects, and collaborated with researchers and CDPH graduate student fellows. Deborah also worked at SJSU Peer Connections as a Supplementary Instruction Leader, engaging a class of 200+ students by hosting hour-long supplementary instruction sessions twice a week. In 2022, they worked at the County of San Mateo as a Tobacco Prevention Program Intern, assisting in data collection and recording observations of existing multi-unit housing smoking policies. Deborah also worked at Rising Sun Center for Opportunity as a Summer Program Manager, overseeing daily operations, generating an inventory tracking system, and forming a partnership with the San Jose Public Library branches. Finally, they are currently working at Sprinter Health as an Operations Associate.
Deborah Lee is currently attending San Jose State University, where they are pursuing a B.S. in Public Health with a minor in Business and Child & Adolescent Development. Upon graduating in 2022, they will begin a COOP Apprentice in Data Analytics. Deborah has also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in November 2022.
