René Griffin is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th ELAR Teacher at Springtown Independent School District since August 2022. Prior to this role, René was a Secondary English Teacher at Keller Independent School District from August 2020 to July 2022. René also held various positions at The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2016 to July 2020, including Event Parking Coordinator and Parking Control Officer, while assisting with administrative tasks as a Team Lead/Student Assistant. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Apex Academy from November 2014 to August 2015, where René planned and delivered instructional curriculum to preschool students. René holds a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Texas at Arlington, obtained between 2014 and 2017, and attended Oklahoma State University from 2013 to 2014.
