Jen Johnson has a work experience that spans over two companies. Jen began their career at Oxford University Innovation in 2000, where they worked as a Marketing Manager until 2004. Following that, they joined the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce in 2004, where they held multiple roles over the years. Jen started as an Economic Development Coordinator and later became the Manager of Investor Engagement. In 2020, they assumed the position of Chief of Staff, and most recently, they are serving as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs.
Jen Johnson completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English from Drury University, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Foundations of Management Training" from Missouri SBDC at Missouri State University in February 2021, "Graduate, Leadership Missouri" from Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry in June 2018, and "Graduate, Signature Class 29" from Leadership Springfield in June 2014.
