Ying Ding

Co Editor Semantic Web Synthesis Lectures at Springer Nature

Ying Ding serves as the AI in Health Co-Chair at the Generative AI Center at the University of Texas at Austin, leading initiatives focused on generative AI in healthcare. Ying is also a faculty member at the NSF National AI Center, collaborating with experts in AI, machine learning, and deep learning within healthcare domains. As the Bill & Lewis Suit Professor, Ying aims to enhance electronic medical record systems and develop AI technologies for improved healthcare delivery. Additionally, Ying is the Co-Director of the AI Health Lab, a Strategic Advisor at Katana Graph, and a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Data2Discovery Inc. Ying’s editorial contributions include serving as Co-Editor of Semantic Web Synthesis Lectures and Co-Editor in Chief of Data Intelligence with The MIT Press. Previously, Ying held various academic roles at Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on data science program development and research in semantic web projects. Education includes a postdoctoral degree in Semantic Web and a PhD from Nanyang Technological University.
