Tan Kim Tran is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in various roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Springer Nature Group, Tan has previously held positions as Solutions Architect at a Series B SaaS Startup and Data Engineer at a seed-funded SaaS Startup. Tan's background also includes work as a Mathematical Statistician at the U.S. Department of Energy and as a Reserving Actuary at Farmers Insurance. Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics with an option in Statistics from California State University, Long Beach, and has pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, although studies are currently suspended.
