Amanda Garner is a distinguished Professor at the University of Michigan, where Amanda has held various academic roles since August 2013, including Director of the Interdepartmental Program in Medicinal Chemistry and Associate Professor. Garner contributes to several scientific publications, serving as a Topic Editor for ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science and as an Advisory Board Member for prestigious journals such as Cell Chemical Biology and the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. Garner's research expertise focuses on chemical biology and medicinal chemistry, with significant studies on drug targets for obesity, metabolic disorders, and other diseases.
