Prior to joining Springboard Collaborative, Dajé pursued her passion for education at Penn State University, where she honed her teaching skills. During her time at Penn State and four subsequent years after, Dajé embarked on a diverse teaching journey, working with students ranging from 14 to 22 years old in both international (Ireland) and domestic (Philadelphia and State College, Pennsylvania).
One pivotal moment in Dajé's career was her experience as a 9th-grade English teacher at Boys' Latin of Philadelphia, where she encountered students struggling to read at a 9th-grade reading level. This encounter ignited her path to positively impact students' lives through literature by igniting their passion for reading. Her commitment to fostering a love for reading led her to join Springboard Collaborative.
Dajé holds a B.A. in Secondary Education as well as History and is currently enrolled in an M.B.A program with a focus on Organizational Management. Beyond her professional life, Dajé is an avid reader herself, with a special fondness for the timeless classic "Charlotte's Web," because it was the first chapter book that I read alone.

Personal Q&A
Can you describe a typical day of yours?
I start the morning with either an hour of Judo or an hour of weight lifting. Then I get my day started with a cup of Chai (iced or hot, sometimes with espresso). Next I work through some projects and take a mid day lunch that includes a walk with my dog, Moose. After I finish any work needed through the rest of the day. After work I will either attend another Judo session, read a book, watch Netflix, or wander around Philadelphia.
