Originally from Birmingham, AL, Benji graduated with a B.A. in Theatre, Math, and Spanish from Vanderbilt University, where he loved singing with his a cappella group and rehearsing for theatrical productions. After college, he worked as a math teacher, childrenā€™s theatre actor, and college admissions consultant before moving to St. Louis, MO to complete his Venture For America fellowship. It was through VFA that Benji developed his passion for helping impactful organizations grow, and he is delighted to apply his skills to the important work of Springboard Collaborative. As a child, he was a Magic Tree House superfan, daring to imagine, to empathize, and to always stay curious about the world around him.
