Eyal Margalit MD PhD is a highly experienced ophthalmologist and retina specialist currently serving as a Senior Clinical Scientist at SPRING Vision, where responsibilities include developing a multi-spectral retina camera for diagnosing retinal and systemic diseases. Eyal Margalit also practices at The Baruch Padeh Medical Center in Poriya and previously worked at Island Eye Specialists and Nebraska Medicine, where leadership roles included directing the Retina Unit and the Retina Fellowship. Eyal Margalit completed a clinical retina fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute, contributing to the development of the Argus II implant, and began the medical career as a resident at Hadassah Medical Center while completing an MD PhD, including a neurophysiology thesis focused on the electrophysiology of single neurons in the prefrontal cortex.
