Sean Becker, LCSW, has extensive work experience in the field of mental health and social work. Sean began their career as a Case Specialist at Child Family Community Services in 2008, where they provided support and assistance to families in need. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Family Advocate at Child, Family, and Community Services Inc., where they supported families in early start programs and connected them with necessary resources.
In 2012, Sean interned as a Medical Social Worker at Kaiser Permanente, where they assisted patients and their families in coping with social and emotional issues related to illness. Sean then joined Kaiser Permanente as a Medical Social Worker (Inpatient) from 2015 to 2017, providing age-appropriate social work care to patients and coordinating their treatment plans.
Sean's experience also includes working as a Social Worker at VITAS Healthcare, where they provided support to individuals and families facing end-of-life issues. At Abode Services, they served as a Housing Service Coordinator for Realignment Housing Program, connecting individuals on probation with housing and providing temporary assistance as needed. Additionally, they worked as a Mental Health Outreach Worker at Abode Services, conducting assessments and connecting homeless individuals with suitable resources.
From 2016 to 2019, Sean worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker 1 at Santa Clara County Behavioral Health, where they conducted mental health assessments, created treatment care plans, provided psychotherapy and mental health rehabilitation, and worked within an interdisciplinary team. Sean also played a role in crisis interventions, program development, and clinical supervision for rehabilitation counselors.
Prior to their current position, Sean worked at Momentum for Mental Health as a Clinician II from 2018 to 2019 and at Linn County Health Services as a Mental Health Specialist II from 2019. Currently, they are working as a Mental Health Therapist at Spring Health, where they provide therapy and support to individuals.

Sean Becker, LCSW has a strong educational background in social work and related fields. Sean obtained a Master's of Social Work degree with a specialization in Community Mental Health from California State University - East Bay, graduating in 2014. Prior to that, in 2011, Sean obtained a Certificate in Human Biology for social workers from Texas State University.
Before pursuing their Master's degree, Sean completed their Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services from California State University, Monterey Bay, graduating in 2008. Sean also holds an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, which they obtained from Las Positas College between the years 2000 and 2005.
In addition to their formal education, in March 2012, Sean obtained a CPR AED certification from Anne Aerobics.com.
