Margaret Bloomer

Senior Clinical Director at Spring Health

Margaret Bloomer's work experience begins in 2002 as a Special Assistant to the Managing Director at Corporate Executive Board. In 2003, they transitioned to working as a Healthcare Representative at Pfizer, where they stayed until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Margaret worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at Nathan Kline Institute. Following this, they joined Nyack College as a Life Enrichment Counselor and Mentoring Coordinator from 2006 to 2007. Margaret then worked at Healing Connection as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern until 2010. In that same year, they became a Staff Counselor at San Antonio College, and concurrently served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Alamo Colleges from 2010 to 2014. From 2011 to 2016, Margaret owned their own career counseling and coaching business called Bloom Career Counseling and Coaching. In 2015, they joined Optum as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor before progressing to roles such as EAP Supervisor, Manager, Clinical Operations Manager, and Associate Director of EAP Organizational Support Solutions until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of EAP Services at Spring Health.

Margaret Bloomer pursued their education at Alliance University from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. Prior to that, they attended Messiah University from 1998 to 2001, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
