Derek Wang has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the COO & Co-Founder of Spover, where they oversee the collaboration on Revenue Operations. Prior to this, in 2022, they served as the Head of Data at Millions, where they played a crucial role in building the data analytics framework and uncovering key metrics for the debit card rewards product.

From 2016 to 2021, Derek worked at Zoom, first as a Data Scientist and one of the founding members of the data team, participating in important C-level decisions and driving growth strategies. Derek then became the Data Science Manager, scaling the team and implementing data and business transformations that contributed to Zoom's significant growth.

Before joining Zoom, Derek worked at EY from 2012 to 2016, starting as a Staff Consultant and later becoming a Senior Consultant in the Advisory department.

Derek Wang completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. Derek then pursued a Retention + Engagement Series program at Reforge, which lasted until 2018. In terms of additional certifications, Derek obtained The Growth Series certification from Reforge in September 2018. Derek also completed a Machine Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in 2019 and obtained the Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International in May 2018. In 2022, Derek obtained a DeFi Specialization certification from Duke University through Coursera.
