Shamik Ray is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience across leading organizations in the tech and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Designer and Senior Manager at Spotify, Shamik has elevated roles including Design Manager and Product Area Lead, as well as Staff Designer. Prior experience includes a position as Lead Designer (AVP) for Future Payments at Barclaycard and serving as a Design Mentor at Barclays/Techstars Accelerator. Additionally, Shamik contributed as a Visiting Faculty at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, bringing academic expertise to the design field. Shamik holds a Masters Level Diploma in Interaction Design from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and a Bachelor of Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
