Mike O' Gorman

Global Head Of Business Development at Spot Ship

Mike O'Gorman's work experience begins with their current position at Spot Ship, where they serve as the Global Head of Business Development since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Business Development at the same company, starting in February 2021.

Before joining Spot Ship, O'Gorman worked at SAP for over nine years as the UK&I SAP Distribution Channel Manager. In this role, they were responsible for brand development and engagement with resellers, distributors, and end users for the SAP Crystal and ARP (Authorised Reseller Program) products in Ireland and the UK. Mike left SAP in February 2021.

From 2009 to 2011, O'Gorman worked as a Print and Document Management Consultant at Genisys Enterprise, where they collaborated with sales teams and manufacturers to develop customer opportunities and deliver managed print solutions tailored to their needs.

Prior to that, they spent two years at Hewlett Packard from 2005 to 2007 as a Print Specialist Partner Account Manager, followed by a role as a Services Business Partner Specialist until 2008.

Before joining Hewlett Packard, O'Gorman held a role in Services Sales and Marketing at DSGi from 2003 to 2005 and worked as an HP Services Specialist at Microwarehouse UK from 2003 to 2005.

Earlier in their career, O'Gorman worked as a Software Business Manager at Action Computers Alperton from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they were a Purchasing Team Leader for Software and Consumables at MicroWarehouse from 1996 to 1998.

Mike'swork experience dates back to 1990, starting with a role in Purchasing at Europcar Fleet Services until September 1993.

Mike O'Gorman completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Business from the University of Hertfordshire between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, they pursued a Higher National Certificate in Business and Finance at Elm Park College in Stanmore Middlesex from 1990 to 1992. In their earlier education, Mike attended Scariff Community College from 1983 to 1987, although the degree obtained and field of study during this period are not specified.

Additionally, Mike O'Gorman obtained a Master's degree in life from the Centre Universitaire Yahia Farès de Médéa. As for their additional certifications, they earned one in "Whale Ship Strikes: conservation initiatives and the Whale Safe project" from the Whale Safe project in March 2022.
