Aslak Sverdrup is the current Director at Innovasjon Norge, contributing to sustainable growth and export for Norwegian businesses. Sverdrup serves as a member of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Ocean Literacy Group of Experts, guiding the IOC's Ocean Literacy initiatives. In addition, Sverdrup holds the position of President at Sportsklubben Brann and Chairman of the Board at BIR. Previous leadership roles include CEO at STIFTELSEN AKVARIET I BERGEN, significant board memberships with Bergen Convention Bureau and Flytoget AS, and Chairman of the Board at Bergen Næringsråd. Prior experience also includes serving as Airport Managing Director at Avinor, overseeing Bergen Airport Flesland, and mentoring within the Making Change network. Aslak Sverdrup's education includes courses in Strategic Leadership, Risk Management, and a degree from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.
