Alistair Vannet is an experienced educator and basketball coach with a diverse background in teaching and sports development. Currently serving as a Teacher at Renfrewshire Council since August 2017, Alistair also holds a position as a UKCC Coach Tutor for sportscotland, responsible for course delivery and candidate assessment. Previous roles include Development Squad Coach and Lead Coach for Dundee City Council, where Alistair focused on talent development and session planning for players. Additional coaching experiences span various age levels and teams, including Scotland U15 and U13 head coaching roles with Basketball Scotland, and leadership roles at the University of Dundee and Tayside Musketeers Basketball Club. Alistair's educational qualifications include a PGDE from the University of Aberdeen and a Master's degree from the University of Dundee, alongside a robust career in sports photography.
