Shawn Harris possesses extensive experience in the sports broadcasting and journalism field, currently serving as an On-Air Master Control Operator at WWMT-TV News Channel 3 since August 2022. With a diverse background, Shawn has been a Sports Journalist covering the Kalamazoo Wings Hockey Club and a freelance Associate Press Writer for the Kalamazoo Growlers since August 2016 and April 2014, respectively. Additionally, Shawn hosts The Scoop Talk Show, discussing current sports topics, and has held various positions in sports media, including producer for the Kalamazoo Wings Hockey Radio Network and syndicated sports talk show host for Yellow Jacket Media Network and Wildfire Radio. Academic credentials include certifications in sports broadcasting from SMWW and camera operations from PMN, alongside an Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from ITT Technical Institute.
