Edward Wang is the current Chief Technical Officer at SportsBiz. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Design and Product Development at Fair.com from January 2021 to December 2022. Edward was responsible for all aspects of the product, from vision and strategy, through to product and feature requirements. Edward worked in partnership with engineering, design and technical project managers to scope, evaluate, propose and deliver solutions for speed to market while maximizing velocity.
Edward built, hired and led a muti-disciplinary design team focused on launching an evolved three-sided automotive marketplace of partners, consumers and dealers. The team successfully tested and built a responsive end-end e-commerce marketplace and fulfillment experience with the ability to purchase add-ons and finance via integrated lenders.
Edward defined strategy, processes, principles, OKRs and operations that allowed our teams to design and build great products in partnership with engineering, technical project managers, customer experience, vehicle ops, marketing and dealership teams.
Edward established a ‘design as strategy’ mindset that created value at all levels of the organization with an approach rooted in Design Thinking principles. Edward pursued and socialized the understanding of user and customer needs through research and data analysis.
Edward Wang has a BA in Art Theirtory from Drew University, non-credit courses in Business Management from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, a Certificate in Web Design & Development from Raritan Valley Community College, and a Diploma from Ranney School. Edward also has certification from adplist.org in 100 Mentorship Minutes and from Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
