Angela Ruggiero has had an extensive career in the sports and technology industry. In 1995, they joined the United States Olympic Committee Board of Directors and became a 4-Time Olympian and Gold Medalist. In 2014, they became a Senior Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates, focusing on transparency and accountability throughout the organization. In 2016, they co-founded Sports Innovation Lab, where they served as the CEO and hosted the Fluid Fan Podcast. In 2019, they joined the World Rugby Executive Board Member. In 2020, they became a Member Board of Directors for theScore and a Member of the Board of Advisors for Arctos Sports Partners. In 2022, they joined the Board of Directors for Enthusiast Gaming and the Board of Advisors for TitletownTech. Angela also serves on several committees for the International Olympic Committee, including the Digital and Technology Commission, Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, Ethics Commission, Nominations Commission, IOC Executive Board, and IOC Athlete's Commission. In 2016, they became the Chief Strategy Officer for Los Angeles 2028.
Angela Ruggiero obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government from Harvard University between 1998 and 2004. Angela then went on to obtain a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota between 2008 and 2010. In 2011, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting from the American Management Association. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA), General Management from Harvard Business School between 2012 and 2014.
