Helen Pownall has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Helen currently holds the position of SVP - Engineering Operations and Delivery at Sportradar since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Global Managing Director - Engineering Operations and Delivery at Sportradar from June 2019 to April 2023.

Before joining Sportradar, Helen worked as the Head of Core Engineering, GBS at Bottomline Technologies from October 2018 to June 2019. Helen also had a significant role as a Project Manager at Worldpay from September 2015 to September 2018, where they managed global technology and engineering projects.

Helen's earlier experiences include working as a Programme Manager at Haymarket Media Group from January 2013 to August 2015, and as a Programme Delivery Manager at NSPCC from August 2008 to April 2011.

Helen'sextensive career started at Accenture, where they held the position of a Senior Manager - Accenture Technology Consulting from October 1998 to November 2008. Helen initially joined Accenture as an IT Consultant in 1998 and worked in that role until 2004.

Helen Pownall obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Exeter, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy at the University of Leicester from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, Helen has obtained certifications in Flight Levels Board Design from Flight Levels Academy and SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. Helen also holds a CSM certification from Scrum Alliance.
