Hampus Lofkvist has a varied work experience, with roles in the sports industry and communications sector. Hampus started their career at Tetra Pak in the Communications Division from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they joined UEFA, initially as a Marketing Activities Coordinator and later as a Sponsorship and Licensing Manager, where they managed the growth of UEFA's licensing programs and sold sponsorship packages. Hampus also took on the role of UEFA Champions League Venue Director, coordinating matches and ensuring successful cooperation between clubs, broadcasters, and sponsors. In 2016, Lofkvist joined MP & Silva as the Director of Sponsorship, Europe, where they set up the sponsorship and commercial partnerships business and worked on global sponsorship rights and strategic acquisitions. Currently, Lofkvist is working at Sportradar since 2018, first as the Global Sponsorship Sales Director, responsible for brand partnerships across various sports leagues, and then as the VP Sales, Advertising & Sponsorship. In this role, they lead a global sales team and integrates data-driven tools and technology to improve the efficiency of digital sponsorship activation. Prior to their professional career, Lofkvist worked at the Swedish Open as a Venue Manager during the summers from 2004 to 2007.
Hampus Lofkvist earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. In 2005, they also participated in a Study Abroad semester at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Additionally, they completed a Micro MBA program with UEFA, although the specific years of completion are unknown.
