Owain Jones is an experienced educational leader and physical education specialist, currently serving as a PE Changemaker for the Youth Sport Trust and Deputy Subject Lead for PE at Cornwall SCITT. With a strong focus on promoting emotional health and wellbeing in schools, Owain has held multiple leadership roles including Teaching and Learning Lead for Health and Wellbeing at St Ives School, Deputy Head of the Physical Education Department, and Senior Leader in education with Sport England. Owain's extensive teaching background comprises various roles, from core PE and GCSE PE teacher to working with primary transitions. Owain's educational qualifications include a PGCE in Physical Education from the University of Exeter and a degree in Marine Sports Science from the University of Plymouth.
