Johnny Hunter currently serves as Principal of Data Science at Linktree since January 2024. Previously, Johnny co-founded and held the position of COO at This One from November 2021 to January 2024. At Spotify, from January 2017 to May 2021, Johnny advanced from Senior Product Manager to Product Manager and ultimately to Machine Learning Engineer, playing a key role in developing machine learning models and high-throughput APIs for music and podcast content management. A Machine Learning Engineer at Sonalytic from 2016 to 2017, Johnny specialized in systems for audio file identification. Johnny also has academic experience as an undergraduate tutor and teaching assistant at the University of Oxford and participated in a significant geophysics research cruise. Johnny earned a DPhil in Geophysics from the University of Oxford and holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University.
