Jeff Smith, SHRM-CP, PHR, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various HR functions. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Spokane Transit Authority since February 2017, Jeff has previously held roles as an Employee Relations Specialist and Training & Safety Coordinator at Skils'kin, where responsibilities included developing training programs and addressing employee relations. Additional experience encompasses a Human Resources Generalist role that involved recruitment across multiple states, as well as an HR internship at Inland Northwest Health Services. Before transitioning into HR, Jeff served as an Aircraft Electrical Mechanic and Avionics Guidance and Control Systems Specialist in the United States Air Force, gaining technical expertise in maintenance and repair of military aircraft. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a focus on HR from Eastern Washington University and an Associate of Science in Avionics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
