Nuria Reig has an extensive work experience with various companies and research institutions. Nuria is currently working as a Senior Program Manager at SpliceBio since April 2023. Previously, they held several roles at SOM Biotech, including Head of R&D from March 2020 to April 2023, Interim Chief Scientific Officer from July 2016 to March 2020, and Project Manager from October 2010 to July 2016. Before joining SOM Biotech, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Xigen SA from February 2009 to October 2010. Prior to that, they were a Scientific Collaborator at EPFL from June 2006 to January 2009. Nuria also gained experience as a Visitor Scientist at Yale University, where they were involved in research from 2004 to 2007. Earlier in their career, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Geneva from October 2004 to June 2006 and the University of Barcelona from January 2003 to October 2004. Nuria completed their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Barcelona from June 1998 to January 2003.
Nuria Reig completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the Universitat de Barcelona from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 1998 to 2003.
