Josh Hinkle has a long and varied work experience. Josh began their career in 1997 as an Assistant to the Director of Student Services at Lycoming College, where they were responsible for troubleshooting the campus network, computers, and RESNET. In 1999, they moved to Utz Quality Foods as a Systems Specialist, where they drove business goals through innovative technological solutions. In 2000, they joined the American Heart Association as an Enterprise Network Administrator, and was later promoted to Manager of Datacenter, Network & Security Management. In 2010, they became the Chief Information Officer and Security Officer at Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania. In 2012, they took on the roles of Chairman of Adams County Connected and Chief Operating Officer of Healthcare System Connections. In 2014, they became President and CEO of 2K Networking, Inc. and in 2018, they became President and CEO of Splashwire Inc. In 2020, they joined The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania as a Board Member.

Josh Hinkle attended Lycoming College from 1997 to 1998, York College of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2000, and the University of Maryland from 2000 to 2003, studying Business Administration.
