Dr. med. Rath Bastian currently serves as Leitender Arzt Anästhesie at Spital Uster since August 2019. Prior experience includes the same role at Spital Linth from October 2018 to July 2019 and Oberarzt positions at Institut für Anästhesiologie Universitätsspital Zürich from September 2013 to September 2018 and Anästhesie Kantonsspital Schaffhausen from July 2011 to June 2012. Dr. Rath Bastian also worked as Notarzt for Rega from 2012 to 2013 and held the position of Assistenzarzt in various institutions, including Kantonsspital Glarus and Institut für Anästhesiologie Universitätsspital Zürich. Education was completed at Medizinische Fakultät Universität zu Köln, earning a degree in Humanmedizin from 1997 to 2004, following the Abitur from Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium, Bensberg, from 1986 to 1995.
