Warren Ronk is a highly experienced Sr Materials Engineer at Spirit AeroSystems since September 2016, with a robust background in material and process engineering spanning over two decades. Prior to this role, Warren served as an Engineer at GE Aviation from 2007 to June 2016, specializing in polymer composites and evaluating new materials for manufacturing applications. Warren's expertise includes managing government contracts, developing lower-cost precursors for ceramic matrix composites, and conducting polymer characterization at the University of Dayton Research Institute. Earlier positions include work as a Research Scientist at Cytec Engineered Materials, an Engineer at GE Transportation, and various roles at National Starch, where Warren oversaw R&D teams and managed field technical services. Warren holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
