Nate Swanson serves as the Corporate Director of People & Culture at Spire Hospitality, overseeing HR operations for 2,500 employees across 30+ hotels in 18 states since April 2022. With extensive experience in human resources, Nate previously held roles as Corporate Director of People at Virgin Hotels and Director of Human Resources at Thompson Dallas, contributing to hotel openings, strategic HR initiatives, and employee engagement programs. Notable achievements include developing a leadership program and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives. Nate’s career began with various managerial positions at DICK'S Sporting Goods and includes military service in the Illinois Army National Guard. Nate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Western Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Northeastern Illinois University.
