Lisa Calhoun CMP CTA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Lisa started their career as an intern at Marriott International in 1994. Lisa then worked as a Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Grand Rapids from 1995 to 2001. Following that, they served as a Corporate Sales Manager at Hilton Grand Rapids Airport from 2001 to 2009. In 2006, Lisa joined Spire Hospitality as the Director of Sales. In 2009, they transitioned to the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport, where they later became the General Manager in 2019. Apart from their hotel experience, Lisa has also been involved in various industry associations and boards. Lisa is a Board Member for both the Experience Grand Rapids Board of Directors and the Kent County Hospitality Association. Additionally, they served as an Ambassador for the Wyoming-Kentwood Area Chamber of Commerce from 2002 to 2012.

Lisa Calhoun CMP CTA obtained a BAA degree from Central Michigan University between 1991 and 1995. Lisa also holds a certification as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council, which they obtained in December 2016.
