Roger Nelson, PE, PSP has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Roger began their career at Mainzeal Property & Construction Ltd. in 2005 as an Engineer. Afterward, they joined Skanska as a Project Engineer for two years. In 2008, they joined Exponent and served as a Manager, specializing in Construction Dispute Consulting, Services Consulting, and Utilities Services.

In 2015, Nelson moved to Navigant and worked there for three years as an Associate Director. Roger then joined Ankura in 2018 as an Associate Director, but their tenure was short-lived as they transitioned to AACE International the same year. At AACE International, they served as the Region 6 Director for three years.

Currently, Nelson is with Spire Consulting Group, LLC, where they started in 2018 as a Managing Consultant. Recently, they have been promoted to the role of Associate Principal.

Throughout their career, Nelson has gained expertise in various areas, including document management, contract entitlement review, schedule delay analysis, change order evaluation, and cost damages analysis. Roger also has extensive experience in construction project management, portfolio management, and natural gas distribution engineering audit. Nelson's work experience demonstrates their versatility and knowledge in the construction industry.

Roger Nelson, PE, PSP obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in the years 1998 to 2002. Roger then pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, Roger Nelson holds certifications as a LEED Accredited Professional from USGBC and a Professional Engineer from the California Board for Professional Engineers.
