Phil Hopkins is an experienced Engineering Manager at Spirax Sarco, leading a centralized Engineering Team focused on global product, solution, and service development since June 2014. Responsibilities include managing a £2m annual revenue budget, overseeing R&D testing, new product introduction support, and software application development. Prior to this role, Phil held managerial positions at GE Aviation, overseeing mechanical design and analysis teams for landing gear systems, and was involved in developing engineering processes and metrics. Experience also includes significant roles at Messier-Dowty, focused on engineering demand and resource planning, and Kohler Mira Ltd., where Phil contributed to design engineering of showering equipment. Phil holds a PGD in Management Studies and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of England.
