Abdul Butt has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the automotive and engineering industries. Abdul currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations, Electric Thermal Solutions at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc. Prior to this, they served as the Operations and Supply Director at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions.

Before joining Spirax-Sarco, Abdul was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MPP. Abdul also served as the CEO of GKN Wheels and Structures, overseeing the organization and implementing innovative business strategies. In this role, they successfully negotiated with top OEM customers, resulting in additional profits and implemented working capital management strategies to improve cash inflows.

Abdul's previous experience includes holding the position of President of Automotive and Industrial Metal Component Manufacturing for the Americas at GKN plc. In this role, they coordinated the operations of manufacturing facilities and provided key insights as a member of the GKN Powder Metallurgy Executive Team. Abdul also served as the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at GKN plc, where they revolutionized safety programs and achieved profitability increases through various initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Abdul served as the Vice President of Automotive Component Manufacturing at GKN plc, where they oversaw the performance of facilities and improved key metrics through continuous improvement efforts. Abdul also held the position of General Manager of Metal Manufacturing at GKN plc, where they successfully managed plant operations in different locations.

Abdul's career began with Ford Motor Company, where they started as an Apprentice in Engineering and gained valuable experience. Overall, they have a strong background in leadership, operations, supply chain management, and business development within the automotive and engineering sectors.

Abdul Butt attended Loughborough University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management. Additionally, they completed the International Leadership Development Program at GKN plc in 1999.
