Meagan Nelson has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Meagan currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Retail & Distributor Growth at SPINS, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, Meagan served as the Director of Retail Partners at SPINS from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining SPINS, Meagan worked at NielsenIQ for ten years, starting in 2010. Meagan'sroles at NielsenIQ include Associate Director, Mid-Tier Accounts from 2019 to 2021, Associate Director, Fresh Growth & Strategy from 2016 to 2019, Client Manager, Perishables Group from 2012 to 2016, and Project Manager, Perishables Group from 2010 to 2012.

Meagan also gained valuable experience at Weber Shandwick as an Associate Account Executive from 2008 to 2009, and as a District Manager at ALDI USA from 2006 to 2008.

Prior to their corporate roles, Meagan worked as a Research Assistant in Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2005. Meagan also served as the State FFA Treasurer at Illinois FFA from 2002 to 2003.

Meagan Nelson's education history begins in 2003 when they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Meagan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Farm & Financial Management, which they completed in 2006. Continuing their academic journey, Meagan enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing.
