Gavin Arucan is a storyboard artist and animation educator with a diverse background in animation and teaching. Currently serving as a storyboard artist for "Helluva Boss" at SpindleHorse Toons since January 2021, Gavin has also contributed to "Hazbin Hotel" Seasons 1 and 2 at Princess Bento Studio. In addition to industry work, Gavin has been an intermediate 2D character animation lecturer at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, developing and teaching courses from Fall 2021 to Spring 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a visual development artist for the 3D animated short film "Manō a Mano," and as an animation artist for Aqualink.org, among other positions. Gavin holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Media: Animation from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earned in 2020.
