Ryan Navaroli has a diverse work experience in the education and sports sectors. Ryan served as a School Counselor (K-12) at the Scotts Valley Unified School District since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Spikeball Baller Ambassador and Event Specialist at Spikeball Inc. where they founded and managed Santa Cruz Roundnet. Ryan organized pick-up games, managed social media accounts, and promoted the sport of Roundnet through events and tournaments.
Ryan also worked as a Counselor Intern at Green Acres and Del Mar Elementary School, Live Oak Elementary School, Shoreline Middle School, and Harbor High School. In these roles, they provided academic and socio-emotional support to students and collaborated with parents and teachers. Additionally, they interned as a Counselor and Advisor at California State University, San Bernardino, where they also worked as a Staff Writer for the "Coyote Chronicle" school newspaper and served as a Music Representative.
Ryan Navaroli has a strong educational background. Ryan obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) and PPS degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Communication at California State University-San Bernardino from 2012 to 2014. Ryan also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts, Language Arts, Humanities Emphasis from Gavilan College, which they earned from 2010 to 2011. Ryan completed their high school education at Santa Cruz High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma.
In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also obtained various certifications. Ryan is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (Parts 1 & 2) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (Full Certification with Restraints), both obtained in July 2017. Ryan also holds a General Mandated Reporter certification from the California Department of Social Services, which they obtained in August 2015.
