Mark Schellings currently serves as the Voorzitter medische staf and Clinical Chemist at Spijkenisse Medisch Centrum since September 2014. Concurrently, Mark holds the position of MIO Data & AI and Medisch manager KCL at Maasstad Ziekenhuis, also since September 2014. Prior experience includes a consultancy role as a laboratory specialist in clinical chemistry at Diagnose.me from June 2016 to August 2019, and a Clinical Chemistry Resident at Maxima Medical Center from September 2010 to August 2014. Mark’s academic background includes a tenure as a Post-Doc and Kootstra Postdoctoral Fellow at Maastricht University, along with a PhD. and research position in the department of Cardiology. Mark holds an MSc. in Biological Health Sciences from Maastricht University and completed studies at Gymnasium Bernrode from 1992 to 1998.
